Design with oxfam application

Oxfam have opened up their treasure trove of second-hand clothes for you to remix, remake and sell through VVVintage. If you can make gold out of the old, this is a great opportunity for you to show off your talent and make money too.

Who should apply?

We’re looking for gifted designers to create beautiful new garments out of vintage clothes, but it doesn’t stop there: we also want to hear from artists, product designers… anyone who can make magic from already-loved materials. From fashion to fine art, if you can use your creative skills to make something beautiful and new out of Oxfam’s huge collection of second-hand clothes, VV Vintage wants to hear from you.

We’re already getting a lot of interest, so if your application isn’t successful first time, stay in touch – we’re always looking for new creatives!

How does it work?

You’ll pick out garments from the Oxfam vault, upcycle them into new and fabulous items, and we’ll sell your collections online. We give 10% of the retail profit price to charity, you take 60% and we take the rest to cover our costs.

Our team will be there to guide you through the process. We’ll help you build your collection, sharpen your skills and promote your work. And a top PR company is involved in promoting the site and we’re always looking for opportunities to get your designs out there in the press so you can expand your portfolio.
