What a wonderful debate ? Questions arose such as can we really change peoples perceptions on sustainable fashion ? Will the economic dependencies on textiles for the west collapse other countries if we move to sustainability, Mass consumption is so much cheaper, I dont have the time to shop vintage, are we looking to celebrities and have become part of a secure nature so cling to mass consumption, what about ethics, psychological shifts and will sustainability be more encompasing of everyone ? We sound round a table me and 4 hosts and chatted to the late evening. It has continued the fire in me to carry on that sustainability is the way forward. Give through fashion. x
