This amazing bit of information and concept was a treat to discover. Documentation of woven blankets produced using images generated from short circuited cameras as pattern sources. These objects are layered deep with irony: a digital photograph made with a broken camera is mechanically woven as a blanket commonly advertised as a kitsch object—something meant to cherish memories now becomes a way to cherish corrupted memory; the cold logic of digital systems is fashioned into a warm blanket.
