We know this isn’t hot news, but there is truly an element in this piece of work that we cannot not share. Something in her eyes, the beautiful grain of each well composed image, or the fact that we are just so intrigued to see the result of one of rock and rolls legacy’s, most tortured souls offspring. Maybe all of the above. But Hedi Slimane’s photo shoot of Frances Bean Cobain, despite all the tragedy and complex life that surrounds this girl, the shoot depicts this magnetic, alluring grown womanl. These stark, quite revealing black and white images portray a young woman we haven’t seen before in this light, an eerie and precise blend of mother and father, with a rather intense stare makes you feel like she was born to do this. We are left feeling romantic and slightly unnerved.
